Cardi DeMonaco Jr, Software Developer
Cardi lives in Eastpointe, just outside of Detroit, and works in downtown Detroit at Compuware. He has been working there since the beginning of 2011 and has fallen in love with the city. Any time he can he walks around the city and explores new places that he has not been to. His favorite part of Detroit is the Heidelberg Project.
The University of Michigan-Dearborn was Cardi's choice of college. He began there in Fall 2006 and then graduated May 1, 2011. His degree is in Software Engineering and has been in the professional field for over five years now. In his spare time he likes to learn new things, and came across the Apps for Detroit website (www.AppsForDetroit.org). He realized that Detroit was lacking in tourism and thought he could lend a helping hand.
Outside of the virtual world Cardi likes to play soccer and drums. He recently joined the Detroit City Futbol League (www.DetroitCityFutbol.com) and enjoys it thoroughly. He also plays drums in Flywheel, an alternative rock band that plays both originals and covers. The band has played at such venues in Detroit as the Detroit Pub and the Hard Rock Cafe.
